As I mentioned previously I had used my airmiles to book a flight in business class, my seat on the plane was on the upper deck of 747 plane, there was lots of room. The flight was very smooth and flying in Business Class was very comfortable and the food was good. |

The flight arrived on time and all my luggage came through ok, I picked up my rental car a Ford Edge and headed off towards where I was staying The Scottsdale Cottonwoods resort

The resort was nice and quiet even though it was in the centre of Scottsdale. There were quite a few rabbits running around eating the grass. I Had a 1 bedroom Hacianda to myself with a kitchen, living room, bathroom and king bed. |

The main pool was very large and at night when there wernt many people around you could do some decent lap swimming. |

| I'd booked the resort room via Hotels.com and got a great rate, and I'd definitely come back and stay here again. |  |
After checking in I got in touch with some riders I'd arranged to ride with on Sunday at Hawes and made sure the ride was still on.
Then I put my bike together, But as I used my torque wrench to tighten up the pinch bolts on my crankset one of the bolts snapped off !! - so that was the first time and last time I'd use a torque wrench to assemble my bike.
I finshed putting my bike together and then got to sleep at around 23:00
