We started off our day by visiting the West Thumb Geyser basin, the geysers here were not very active, but were interesting all the same. Plus there were hardly any people in this area. |

After viewing old faithful we then walked around all of the geysers and features in the area. And took loads of pictures. |
Once we had finished walking around the geysers we went and had food at the Old Faithful Grand Lodge, where we sat at an upper floor viewing area with a view of the Old Faithful geyser, We then drove to Biscuit basin. |
At Biscuit basin we hiked the 4 mile hike to mystic falls, the hike was quite pleasent and there were great views, as we hiked up to the falls.
After the hike we drove on North and stopped off at the Fountain Paint pot area where there was lots of hot mud pools
We then drove on to the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, on the way we got stuck in a Buffalo jam

We arrived at the Grand Canyon and walked down to the lower falls viewing area. |
We then drove back south through Hayden valley, where we saw herds of Buffalo
We then carried on driving back to Grant Village, where we had dinner at Grant Village Lake House , (We had made reservations the day before), the food was good put the service was pretty bad.
