We decided to go for another hike today and headed over to the San Raphael Swell to hike some slot canyons. |

To get there we drove north up the 191 and the west along the I70 , and then we headed south down the 24. Between mile post 136 & 137 we tuned off west on the Temple Mtn road, we then drove along Chute canyon road where we parked up near the head of Crack canyon. |

We hiked down Crack canyon, it started off very wide and gradually got narrower as we headed down it. |

The narrow sections were amazing , and we had to climb down sections that were were jammed up with logs and rocks. |

At one point we came to a very large pool of stagnant water, which was impassable so we had to climb up high on the canyon wall, to get past the pool. |

We came to the end of the narrow section of crack canyon , so we climbed out the canyon, and headed back up wild horse canyon. |

This canyon also had some good narrow sections, and spectacular eroded rock formations.
We stopped at La Hacienda on the way back into Moab and had a great Mexican meal. |
