We decided to stay another night in Vail as a rest day as my back was still really hurting, We managed to get me booked in for a morning appointment at a Chiropractor in Edwards which had been recommended to us by one of the Luna bikers. The treatment was very good - my back was iced and then had electric stimulation applied, before it was directly manipulated. At the end of the treatment my back was still sore but I was able to walk without so much pain well worth the $150 cost of the treatment. As I had to keep walking we first of all walked around Edwards, then drove to Vail and walked around and did some shopping.

By late afternoon my back felt up to doing a short hike, so we rove over to Piney Lake trail.

The trail was nice and easy just right for my recovering back and the views and peace and quite were great. In the evening we ate at Montauk Seafood grill - the food was fantastic.

DAY 9
