Best Western Oakridge We woke up and packed up all our stuff, asides from the noise and smoke from outside, the room we stayed in had been quite comfortable. We checked out and stared heading East towards Idaho with our destination being Boise, as a stopping point on the way to Stanley. Best Western Oakridge
Driving Route
On the road The route we took went via Bend where we stopped and bought some lunch, and had a look around some local bike shops. Bend seem 'd like a very nice town - lots of green open spaces. We stocked up on provisions at a Wild Oats market and then headed on towards Idaho. On the road
On the road As we crossed into Idaho we had to set our clocks 1 hour forward. On the road
On the road It was a long boring drive of about 411 miles. We arrived at the Hotel I had booked the Cambria Suites in Boise and checked in at around 7.30pm. The Hotel was very nice and modern. Our room was great even had 2 flat screen TV's, we had a swim in a good sized indoor pool, before heading out to get dinner. We had dinner at the Table Rock Brew Pub , where we had some great stakes. We then headed back to the Hotel and did some laundry, and worked out where to stay in Stanley the next day using the Internet. On the road
