We left Grand Junction at about 11am, and drove to Denver along the I70. On the way we stopped at Edwards and had a look around the shops, Clare bought a new cycle computer for her road bike, and then we had some lunch at a great Patisserie shop called Bonjour Cafe. |  |

We then carried on Driving to Denver Airport, and arrived at 4.30pm, we parked in the short term car parking and got Clare checked in. Clare got lucky again and was upgraded to Business Class for the flight home. |  |

As I still had another 6 days of holiday, I got back in the car and drove back along the I70 to Frisco. |  |
| It was quite cloudy and rained at times as i drove back to Frisco, in total I drove around 370 miles today. I had not pre booked anything, so I just drove into Frisco and had a look to see what was available. |  |

I decided to try the Frisco Lodge They had a room available and I booked it for 1 night intending to leave for Fruita after a ride on the Colorado trail the next day. |

They had gone for an old fashioned look, but everything was clean and comfortable. Internet access was not very good though. I drove over to the supermarkets and bought some food to cook in my room, before getting some sleep. I didn't get a good nights sleep , but I think that might of been due to the altitude. |
