We had breakfast at our condo, and then went into town and did some shopping, I picked up a load of good stuff in a sale at a Cole Sport including half price UST tyres, energy drinks etc, we also went to a sports Authority and bought some stuff there as well. Then we headed over to Silver Lake Lodge to ride the Mid Mountain Trail. Very fancy rest rooms were open at the lodge - the resort must be a very pricey one in the winter. |

The first 4 miles of the trail weren't too good as it was rerouted all over the place due to construction traffic, and the trail was wide and dull. But after 4 miles the trail got more interesting. My stomach also got quite upset at this point and I had to keep diving off into the bushes 8-). |

We met a local couple along the way, near to the top of the town lift, who suggested some routes to us, we then headed on along the trail past spiro, the further you rode out the trail the better it got. |

As I cant find my GPS log for this day I'm not sure how far we went along the MMT, when we got to a section that headed downwards in the Aspen, I went on a mile further than Clare as the trail was so much fun before heading back to meet at a bench. When I turned around I had ridden 12 miles from the start |
When we reached the Spiro trail Clare headed off down it, as she was feeling tired and wanted to go back to the Hotel - In total she rode 18.5 miles. I continued back along the MMT , along the way I saw a Mother Moose and a baby Moose. |

I cut down off the MMT on Johns Trail, which was a fun narrow twisty trail which headed down through the Aspens. |
I connected onto Sweenys switchbacks, which were good fun and dropped right down to the edge of town, I then rode up a trail to King Road, which I rode all the way up to Johns 99 - I was felling quite tired by the time I got to Johns 99. Johns 99 was an interesting skinny singletrack which headed back up towards the MMT. |

As it was getting late, I stopped taking photos as I came off Johns, and got back to the SUV just as the sun started to set. In total I'd ridden about 30 miles, and I got back to the Hotel at 7pm. |

| After having a swim and using the Hot Tubs went to eat at Grub Steak restaurant. The food was excellent, I had a prime rib/steak comb, and Clare had tenderloin filet, there was also a great Salad bar. I had way too much food on my plate so I took the prime rib back to the Hotel in a box. Here a map of the Park City trails, i've marked some of the route we took on it., if we were to ride at Park City again I wouldn't start at Silver Lake Lodge I'd go up Spiro and ride from there, as the first part of the MMT wasn't very good, and I'd ride more of Park trails, as the ones I did ride were a lot of fun. |
