It was another sunny day , and we headed off to an area we had not climbed in before near Vigo, the route was not rated as being that hard, but did have a few sections with no protection, loose rocks and the potential to slip off cliff edges. So although it was rated low I thought it was harder than some of the higher rated routes we had already done. |

We only saw 2 other people on the route we were climbing. We reached the first peak but did not hang around too long as there was some threatening clouds building up, and we still had more VF to do. |
One fun section of the route took you down under neath a huge fallen boulder in a gully |
After we reached the end of this gully the VF route was complete, so we packed our gear up and then continued to hike onwards. To the highest point of the hike at 2637m. |
As we hiked on upwards we saw Ptarmigans in the rocks but, they disappeared quickly before we could take photos, also at this point in our hike my ankle started to hurt. Due to my new boots rubbing me. |
We then started to head back down to car, which was still a long way to go, on the way we ran down a great scree slope, which you can see on the left, when we got down to a mountain stream we both soaked our feet in the ice cold water. It had been a fairly long hike compared to other VF's we had done. |
