The weather forecast was good for today,so we decided to do another VF we had done previously. On previous occasions we had hiked up to this VF from Arraba but this time we decided to drive round to the other side of the mountain and catch a chairlift up. We did this then hiked to the start of VF Della Trincee As we knew from past experience that the start of this VF was too hard for my wife, I started up the VF and she hiked back along the bottom of the VF to join me halfway along after the difficult first section. The VF itself is great with a nice slab at the start, and great views as you work your way long the ridge. As my wife hiked along the bottom she came across a Mother Marmot and her baby's right by the path. Eventually the VF goes through a serious of tunnels , which require a torch for you to navigate through them.
