We had another great home cooked breakfast at the B&B, the weather looked the best it had yes on our holiday a great sunny clear day. I took a bunch of photos of the B&B which had been a great place to stay at, a very nice house and great hosts.

Pictures taken around Hope, BC To break up the journey we stopped at the town of Hope, where they filmed Rambo First Blood, we picked up information on the area from the tourist information centre, then we went for a short walk along the Fraiser River. The traffic got quite heavy as we got closer to Vancouver, we arrived out the outskirts of Vancouver at about 3.30pm. The drive from Kelowna was about 241 miles.
We managed to navigate our way through downtown Vancouver and checked in to the Hotel we were staying at the Lord Stanley Suites hotel.

Views from apartment in Lord Stanley Suites Although our suite at the hotel was quite pricey it was in a good location for getting to Stanley park, and had very good secure car parking, and we had some quite good views from the hotel of the harbour. The suite consisted of a small bedroom, a sun room, a kitchen / dining / living room, bathroom and a small study. Views from apartment in Lord Stanley Suites

After unpacking our stuff we headed over to Stanley park me on my bike and Clare running.

Run around Stanley Park Sea Wall (Vancouver,BC)

At times the bike path went away from the running / walking path, but most of the time it parallled the bike path.

The sea way pathway was kept bsuy with cyclists, rollar bladers, wlakers and runners lots of perople were out enjoying the sunny evening.

The ride / Run along the bike path was worth doing due to the great views, although being totally flat was a very easy ride / run. We got back to the Hotel after doing about 8 miles.

We tried a couple of restaurants on the sea front but they all has long waiting times, so we walked up Denman rd and had dinner at a chinese restaurant called Real Restaurant the food was very good , it just took a long time to come out to us. After that we bought some delicious cream puffs from Beard Papa's and then we walked back to our Hotel.
