Next we headed over to Panum Crater and hiked to the top of it. There were lots of interesting geological formations to look at and rocks to scramble around on.

We then drove on to Mammoth Lakes and drove up to Mammoth mountain Ski Resort, it was really cold and windy up at the resort and the Hotels up there were all very full and expensive, so we drove back down into town and stopped at the Visitor Center and looked at the adverts there for places to stay. We saw an advert for Seasons 4 Condos which looked good so we rang them , and arranged to go and see a condo. We were shown a couple of condos and decided on an upstairs unit. Great condo with cozy lounge, large kitchen, bathroom and bedroom and a loft with extra beds. Also condo had high speed internet and free international calls. Plus the resort had a great outdoor heated pool and hot tub. We had a swim and a hot tub watching the stars and big trees all around us.

Then as it was quite late we got take away pizza from dominos which was very good, then we hit the sack.
