| Woke up after a good nights sleep to another sunny but cold day, had another filling breakfast at the hotels excellent breakfast buffet, and then headed over to Dan's to go for a ride to Fisher point at Walnut canyon. |

View from Hotel Window |
We rode from Dan's east along Route 66, then turned onto E santa fe ave, and then cut to a track along side the rail way line, until we came to the crossing point across the railway.
We had to wait for 10 Minutes for a very long train to pass before we could cross the line , then we rode under the 40 and onto a network of trails on the other side of the freeway.
We then rode around on what would have been a very fast series of single track loops (if only my legs didn't feel so tired after the preceding 3 days of riding), until we connected onto the Arizona trail heading west to Fisher Point |

|
The trail was mostly flat with one technical descent into Walnut canyon with a steep up hill out again , then fun singletrack until we dropped back into walnut canyon.
|
We arrived at the bottom of the canyon and stopped to take some pictures in the cave at the bottom of the canyon |

Then we proceeded to ride back up the Fisher point trail, then onto the Arizona trail and then back through town to Dan's place, in Total we rode 30.7 miles on this ride, and I was feeling quite knackered at then end of the ride. |
